In 2018, I became a mom for the first time and moved from New Jersey to North Carolina, all in the same season of life. So many changes wrapped into one moment, right? Between unpacking boxes and figuring out nap schedules, I realized something huge: I didn’t have a community anymore. Motherhood was brand new, and honestly, it felt a little lonely.

As I began to navigate this new chapter, I quickly discovered I wasn’t alone. So many other moms were craving connection too—something beyond playdates and diaper talk. That’s when I remembered what truly lights me up: planning meaningful, joyful events. (Hello JNE!)

I envisioned an experience that celebrated both mothers and their children together. Because let’s be real, moms love to attend great events, but finding a babysitter? That’s another story.

And that’s how Momerton was born—a vibrant, welcoming space where moms can get dressed up, sip tea, laugh, and connect with other amazing women… without having to leave their little ones behind.

Our flagship event, a vintage tea social, brings it all together: fashion, speakers, games, and workshops that nurture the mind, heart, and spirit. It’s more than just an event—it’s a celebration of motherhood, community, and rediscovering you.

As we grow older, our appreciation for the importance of planning ahead becomes more apparent, especially when it comes to organizing events that bring people together. Whether it's a family reunion, a wedding, a birthday party, or any other special occasion, the act of planning and executing a successful event can be incredibly rewarding.
Not only does it create memories that will last a lifetime, but it also provides an opportunity to reconnect with loved ones and strengthen bonds. Seeing the joy on the faces of attendees, the smiles, the laughter, and even the happy tears, is a reminder of the value of coming together and celebrating life's precious moments. With careful planning, attention to detail, and a little creativity, anyone can create an event that will be cherished by all who attend.
